Setting up Secure Print

Secure Print

  1. To use Secure print, when you get to the print page after clicking the Print option, you will need to select your printer. Then, click either Print Properties or the Printer Preferences option.

  1. On the next screen you will see the printer preferences page.

  1. On the printer preferences page click the Job Type drop down field and select Secure Print. Then select OK at the bottom.

  1. You will then see the Secure Print Passcode box appear. Here you will want to create your Passcode to use when you release your print job at the printer. Click OK once you enter your code in both boxes. NOTE: You will not need to enter this in again from your computer as the Passcode will be saved.

  1. Now, go to the printer you printed to, and tap the Job Status button. Tap the Secure Print Jobs tab (If you don’t see that tab then your job should show in the Active Jobs tab.). Find your print job and tap on it.

  1. Then, after tapping your print job the Secure Print window will popup asking for your Passcode. Enter your passcode then tap OK.

  1. Next, after completing step 6, you will see a Lock icon for your print job. Now tap the print job one more time and tap Print in the box that pops up. Your job will then print.
